Prize Złota Strona Emitenta for the Internet website of BNP Paribas Fortis
The BNP Paribas Fortis website won the first place in its category in a competition organized by the Association of WSE Issuers - Best Websites of Public Companies in 2010.
The purpose of the competition „Issuer Golden Website” is to promote high Polish website standards as regards communication with investors and shareholders. In the fourth edition of the competition, 15 companies qualified to the final stage.
The competition judging panel assessed the usefulness of information published at websites for investors and manner of its presentation. The judging panel assessed the response time and manner the questions put to investor relations bureaus were answered as well as website ergonomics and correctness of technologies applied. The new element in this year competition were the criteria regarding the use of the new media (blogs, forums, social networking portals) and such tools as chats or video transmissions.
