Corporate Governance
BNP Paribas Bank Polska SA observes corporate governance rules and has been monitoring its observance since the very beginning of existence of code of best practices on the Polish capital market.
In 2003, the Bank applied The Best Practices of Public Companies 2002.
Between 1 January 2008 and 30 June 2010, the Bank was subject to corporate governance rules defined in the Code of Best Practice for WSE Listed Companies adopted by the WSE Supervisory Board on 4 July 2007.
The amended Code of Best Practice for WSE Listed Companies constituting an appendix to Resolution No. 17/1249/2010 of the WSE Supervisory Board dated 19 May 2010 became effective on 1 July 2010. The Bank adopted the amended rules to the extent recommended by the Board of Executives and the Supervisory Board of BNP Paribas Bank Polska SA.
The Bank has been informing the public of any permanent or incidental breach of corporate governance rules and other events related to observance of rules under Best Practices in current reports published on the Bank’s website and sent through the Electronic Information Database (EBI). Once a year, the Bank issues a report on compliance with the corporate governance rules which is enclosed to the Annual Report.
Since October 2008, the Bank has been participating in a Liquidity Support Program.
