Yes, it is safe to use the app as it has a number of security features.
In the GOmobile application, for example:
- You confirm the identity of the advisor – if you are not sure that it is a BNP Paribas Bank employee calling you, you can confirm their identity in the app.
- You activate additional protection - you can decide to activate the free Behavioural Protection in the app. The protection reacts if your activity in GOmobile differs significantly from your behaviour pattern. The bank may then ask you for additional verification of the transaction you are making to make sure it is you.
- Receive real-time alerts - when you make a transfer or pay with your card, you can trigger instant alerts. This allows you to keep track of your account transactions and the status of your finances.
- Log in securely – you can use your fingerprint or face ID (facial recognition) to log in to your app quickly and securely.
Remember to download the app from the official store (Play Store or AppStore).
